A Terrible(black) Saturday, the day where the whole universe was silenced in the history by the death of Jesus. The disciples were scattered and were left in great distress on knowing that their Lord is no more. The schedules planned, the visions seen were shattered when the Lord Jesus was kept in the tomb.
The disciples were alarmed when Christ was on the cross but they feared to death when Jesus was dead and buried. The same way even in our lives we all have that Saturday, that situation, that phone call which made us fall apart, which is so calm yet difficult like the whole universe has stopped for a moment. No sleep, appetite, life seems to be hopeless to live. All those Why’s? What next? When? How long? Is it forever? Will it not change? Questions from all directions ponder in our mind.
Disciples have forgotten the words of Jesus in that very moment, the words of empowerment, the words of courage and all that they could think of is “WE are OVER”. We also do the same when we encounter some unusual happenings in life, we think that everything is done and forget what God has promised us all through our journey with him. We put ourselves in a fix with many questions and no answers.
While the disciples were still figuring out answers for their questions and reason for their existence the Lord has risen. He Rose from the bed of death and gave every possible reason to live a victorious life
Even in our lives, the power of resurrection will give us a breakthrough from all the fears, anxieties, worries, questions, doubt and tears. Maybe you are in the phase of learning, in midst of a battle to conquer the crown that is set for you. Take courage, Your Redeemer is not in the Tomb but He is Risen.
Let's hope for a better tomorrow in Christ.
InspirMe wishes you all A Hope Enriching, Blessed and A Victorious Easter in Advance.
